Very raw Blurb: The Guard of His Heart

A lifelong guard. A lonely heart. The one who chose him.

After millennia in service, Guan thought love wasn't for him. He closed off his heart and locked away the thoughts of ever finding one he could give himself to.

When he is tasked with a new mission from the High Lady and High Lord of Thyrel, Guan has to change his entire way of living for the next century. Little did he know how hard the last stretch of his mission would be.

Mysterious figures are lurking about Guan's charges, threatening everything he spent the last ninety-nine years protecting. When one of his charges goes missing, Guan must face the truth behind his past and accept the help of a feisty woman to find them. Joined by this tag-along, amid danger at every turn, the hardened shell around Guan's heart is cracking.
