The Chosen One

Aeryn only ever wanted a simple life filled with the purest joys of his own family. In a single night, his dreams of such a future were overturned by the very power of his world. He became the chosen bearer of Marmidon's Gift. History spoke of the past Gift Bearers living exceptional lives of hardship. To care for the entire world was not a burden Aeryn wanted. From living his entire life wrapped in the arms of the Pincer Mountains and hidden from the king, Aeryn must leave his home and train for the coming battles against those who would see their world undone.

Through painful experience, Aeryn learns the consequences of his actions. He must change, mature, and grow quickly if he is to save their world from the growing threat of an ancient foe.

The Gift of Marmidon is the start of the Heart of Fire series that will follow the chosen Gift Bearers as they fight against the Dark and evil of their world until it is vanquished. There are 4 books set for Aeryn's story, after which the mantle will be passed to a new Gift Bearer in the Modern Era, the first female Gift Bearer, Adena. At this time there are 3 books planned for her story arc. Following Adena is Syth, the Gift Bearer of the Tech Era in a futuristic sci-fi age of advanced technology in this magical world.

Through the ages the fight of Light and Dark meets its climatic end.
